According to the 2015 report by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than a million Americans attempted suicide in 2013 resulting in nearly 40,000 deaths. It has been identified as the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. No particular medication is available as yet to provide relief from suicidal thoughts.
